Pour Decisions

Real Time Booze Blog of my life. Cheers!

I’m a beer geek, not a beer snob. And all beer is good. And there’s a time and place for any kind of beer.

Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head (via beerbeer)

I mostly agree with this, except there is no place for garbage brews like Keystone or Miller and Bud. The styles that these beers apparently are? For sure there’s a place for those. But just like there is no place for garbage brews of Belgian Quads or American IPAs, there’s no place for these brewers.

I agree but like Sam I believe every one has its place. Including the “garbage brews.” I of course never buy them or bring them into my home but every now and then…and I mean EVERY NOW AND THEN it’s hard to beat good friends, a greasy burger, and a 12 pack of awful mass brewed American Lager. I guess it’s the Texas in me.
